FM Amplifier 1 Watt

This amplifier is designed for use with the MPX96 and MPX2000 for export applications where a low cost low power FM radio transmitter is needed to cover a village or community, or as a temporary or standby transmitter system. The amplifier runs from a nominal 12V negative ground DC supply at 150-200 ma. and is designed to directly interface with the MPX96 and MPX2000. The amplifier is tuneable from 76 to 108 MHz and has a built in second harmonic filter to keep harmonics to -50 dBc or less. The PC board is 1.75 X 2.75 inches (44 X 70 mm ). Nominal input and output impedances are 50 ohms. At least 20 milliwatts of drive is needed and the MPX96 or MPX2000 can easily deliver this amount with the export modification installed. Kit comes with case, 2.5 mm DC connector and BNC connectors for RF input and output.
