This wall transformer is designed for heavy duty applications where an AC supply is required. It delivers 16V AC at 1100 mA and is ideal for use with rectifier circuits to obtain the needed DC unregulated voltage (15-18V DC) to drive 12-14V power supply regulator circuits, and kits that will operate satisfactorily from a 60 Hz supply. Input voltage is 120V 60 Hz. Useable for powering the following kits:

• Video Master
• Active Antenna
• Speech Scrambler
• Video Palette II
• 8 CH Light Chaser

 

• Note that this transformer supplies AC output and it is NOT SUITABLE for use devices requiring DC

This transformer may also be used with other projects in lieu of an internal 12-16V transformer. This may be preferable to bringing a 120V AC line into the project enclosure. This is to be recommended for improved safety, since contact with 120V AC is much less likely as only low voltage AC enters the project enclosure. Transformer has screw terminals for low voltage output. This transformer is intended for 120V 60 Hz use only.
