8 CH DC ANIMATED LIGHT CONTROLLER

AND CHASER SYSTEM

This is the 8 channel chaser DC system PC board ready for mounting in a suitable enclosure. An extra heatsink may be attached to the main heatsink if extra power handling capacity is desired. Program pattern is selected with the 6 section DIPswitch in the lower right hand corner, and the potentiometer is used to adjust the speed of the display.

Power supply and load connections are made to the ten terminals in the foreground. The jumper on the left side is for selection of DC system power supply voltage. Will operate with unfiltered DC directly from a bridge rectifier. This allows operation from existing 12, 24, or 36 volt AC power sources by using an inexpensive bridge rectifier. The LEDs visually indicate the generated light pattern and also serve to check for correct operation
