AC WALL TRANSFORMER

This wall transformer supplies 12-14 VAC at 200 milliamperes and has been tested satisfactorily with the following projects:

Video Master
Active Antenna
Video Palette II
8 CH Light Chaser

Note that this transformer supplies AC output and it is NOT suitable for use with devices requiring DC and also may damage those devices.

This transformer may also be used with other projects in lieu of an internal 12V transformer. This may be preferable to bringing a 120V AC line into the project enclosure. This is to be recommended for improved safety, since contact with 120V AC is much less likely as only 12V AC enters the project enclosure. Transformer comes with a 2.1 mm connector and is intended for 120V 60 Hz use only.

DC WALL TRANSFORMER 12V UNREGULATED

This general purpose wall transformer supplies 12V DC at 400 milliamperes unregulated. Typical open circuit voltage is 16 volts and has been tested satisfactorily with the following projects:

DC Flicker Controllers   1 and 3 channel

This transformer may be used satisfactorily with many projects and items requiring a 12 to 15 V DC  input where a regulated DC source is not required. Note that this transformer supplies unregulated output and it is NOT suitable for use with devices requiring regulated DC and also may damage those devices. Not recommended for ATV transmitters or other LP transmitters (For a regulated DC 12V source use the PS12500 supply). Transformer comes with a 5 foot 2 wire DC lead. No connector is installed

AC WALL TRANSFORMER HEAVY DUTY

This wall transformer is designed for heavy duty applications where an AC supply is required. It delivers 16V AC at 1100 mA AC and is ideal for use with rectifier circuits to obtain the needed DC unregulated voltage (15-18V DC) to drive 12-14V power supply regulator circuits, and kits that will operate satisfactorily from a 12-16V 60 Hz AC supply. Input voltage is 120V 60 Hz. Useable for powering the following kits:
